A genogram (pronounced: jen-uh-gram) is a graphic representation of a family tree that displays detailed data on relationships among individuals.
Using software from http://www.myheritage.com, I created a genogram that displays my family's educational background. Within my family I noticed that teaching and engineering seem to be two likely professions. We have four engineers and three elementary school teachers. Prior to the mid 1960s no one in my family had an education beyond the 12th grade. However, each person had a trade that they were successful in and enjoyed. I think it will be interesting to see what career choices my children will make.
